Special Election Information- March 4th, 2025
Candidates may start filing for the city council vacancy on Tuesday 1/28/2025. The Nomination Petition and Affidavit for Candidacy must each be filled out and submitted for each candidate interested in being on the ballot. A minimum of ten signatures are needed on the nomination petition. The top portion of the form must be filled out completely before collection signatures. Signatures may not be collected until 1/28/2025. That is when the Auditor will present the resolution calling for the Election to the Board of Supervisors. Election Day is 3/4/2025. Candidates must turn in their nomination petition and affidavit to the Auditors Office by Friday, Feb 7th at 5PM.
